When you move well,

it shows in your performance

When your body is functioning at its peak then your performance instantly becomes more effortless and more beautiful.

Manual therapy can help increase range, decrease stiffness and remove restriction to movement.

Performing requires an incredible amount of physical and mental effort and releases large amounts of adrenaline and cortisol into your system.

The ‘rush’ of performing can often leave your body in a heightened state of arousal that can be tricky to come down from. Manual therapy can help you manage your adrenaline levels and help you navigate the balance on and off the stage.

However, in general some people find that regular treatment is really helpful for them to stay ‘on track’ feeling great and performing at their peak. Others find that they can maintain their body well and only occasionally need some treatment.
The best approach is to find what works best for you. At Melbourne Performance Therapy we can help you find that approach.

Myotherapists will typically prescribe exercises as part of their treatment and may go through these with you as part of your appointment. However! We are still a hands-on therapy so your treatment will almost always include some manual therapy too.
